Tree Mushromm Fungi Fungus

A mushroom is a fungus, neither a vegetable nor a fruit. きのこは菌類、野菜フルーツである 'Mushroom' is used 4 variety of fungi.
They are all around here. In the woods close to the lake.
Some of the mushrooms are soft (jelly) but most of them are hard like wood.
Some mushrooms are the fruiting bodies of decay fungi. Hollow trees.
So ... mushrooms and trees can form an association. Some mushrooms might be seen as parasites. But they do not have to be like this.
So now to an important question: Are the mushrooms that grow on trees edible? Can they be considered as being a vegetable?
I advise you to get a good book about mushrooms. And in doubt: Do not eat them.
Contrary to the photos above the mushroom underneath this writing is soft and jelly.
Why do mushrooms grow on trees? Because trees are yummy 4 mushrooms. Dead or alive :)
These red mushrooms that I saw in the moss looked like they would contain poison.
Once you are focused on mushrooms you can find them everywhere.
So take care when you are mushroom - hunting.

Nights of Frogs Toads Invasion

It all started a couple of nights ago. The frog toad invasion :)
After weeks with temperatures at -10 degrees Celsius the first warm winds came in the middle of March. -10
The moon was nearly full. Or?
No, this is no frog, neither a toad, it is a rotten apple. Do I have bad sights (eyes)? :)
Usually at midnight I like to go outside into the dark. I watch the moon and the stars. But, oh what is this? I discover a frog (or toad). You might know the difference. Is there a difference?
Going forward, I see more and more frogs. I will call them frogs even if they are toads. My god, where did they all come from? I go back into the house to get my camera.
At my first humble approaches, the frogs flee. I have to learn.
Oops, another one is gone. Oops
I am learning. Got him. Or her.
I got a magnifying glass. Oh, there are two of them. On top of each other. What are they doing? You might know :) 私は拡大鏡を得た。
There is another one in a tiny pond. Does he or she look angry at me. Am I disturbing? Guess so.
At midnight the light conditions are not the best. My pocket lamp is not the best. So far I have not used flashlights.
This water is kind of milky.
I get a better light. Are you happy with these photos? Do you like them? Or do you think that they are ugly?
Now we are getting down to business. :) A first close up or portrait. Should we call this frog ' Joe' or ' Harry ' ? :) Or another name. I wonder what his frog name is.
So, now we are really close. I am happy that I am no fly or another animal that this creature would like to eat. I am happy that I am a human person. Am I?
If I would make a family album for the frogs, the frogs could not do something with it :) And they do not belong to my family album. An Evolutionist (somebody) who 'knows' Evolution would maybe put these frogs into his or hers family album.
Some people believe or believed that the human fetus is going through stages. So that at sometime there is a frog in the human body. Or an ape in the 6th month. How can somebody believe this? And some people say, that this is not a matter of belief but of science. Oh, happy confusion.
There are other fairy tales. The tales of frogs being kissed. And they turn to princes. Should I now go around and kiss all the frogs. So that they turn out to be princesses? I guess not. The frogs that find a partner are happy with each other. They do not need me. Maybe my care not to step on them. My help. Not any crazy obsessiveness. For whatever reasons.
I wonder, if frogs talk to their children. Yes, this could be a silly question. I know this. However it might be justified to ask this question. Do you have an answer?
Some people believe in reincarnation. Do you believe this? Do you think that you could be reborn in an animal? Or do you think that this is a crazy thought. Well, such thoughts were not my invention. Thoughts like this are everywhere around. Thoughts are pretty free. A German poet (Friedrich Schiller) wrote about that. However he connected the thoughts about free thoughts with the institutions of states. Of states that do not allow their citzizens to think what they want.
But maybe we should not talk about states or nations but about politicians. In this connection. To produce critic of states or nations would be kind of anarchistic. For a person. States and nations themselves seem to have this right. Or they just take it. Because of their strength and military power. They take it by force.
The above picture is something that I would call frog art. I would not call it: Looking in the mirror :)
Recently I watched TV and saw a film called "The paradise of XXX". XXX stands for a place in Africa. In this paradise movie you then just saw animals eating each other. Very natural. Real paradise? The stronger ones eat and kill the weaker ones. Paradise? What does your philosophy or religion say to this?
Crabs are somehow very different creatures. However the photo above reminds me on crabs. Crabs and frogs like the water. They need the water. A whale definitely looks different :) You know this. And you can very probably tell the difference. What are the differences between a whale and a frog. Yes you are right. The whale is bigger :) However we are not in school here.
So now, we are reaching the end of this article. Thank you very much for reading this far. I try to make my posts more inspiring than TV or newspaper talk. And I hope that this article was inspiring for you. There is a kind of green movement in the USA (North America) right now. There is much talking about the environment. However there is always (it seems like this) a difference about what people talk about and the things that they actually do.
It is possible to talk about peace and to actually just make war. Some people think that there will be once (or after death) a kind of justice (or tribunal or court of law). Do you think that there is (will be) such a thing? Or will be there just a silent black out? What will be? Will the spritual energy just cut of? Or will here be a kind of prolongation, a rebirth, a future? The other day I had a conversation with a real old Lady. We talked about our close-to-death experiences. Her experience was the sight of a roller that would come closer. And she was in danger of getting underneath this roller (or barrel or cylinder). My experience was the one of coming (sliding) into (or towards) the eye of a needle (or choke point or needle eye). Did you have such experience when you were close to death? When you were really sick, had an accident, were in war or under torture or other circumstances?
I wish for you to have a happy day. May your life be long and beautiful!

First Signs of Spring in Austria

Machine translations are funny. They inspire also new ways of thinking. I use the firefox browser with Google translation. That way I can read for example Japanese blogs and tweets (twitter). An easy way to overcome cultural barriers. Language barriers. Most people think that North-America had a great influence on European Culture (fast food etc.) in the 20th century. Nevertheless, the Far East has and had a great influence too. The 'far-east' cultures have traditions for thousands of years. And they have survived. And will survive.

Where shadows are - the snow remains.
In the days of March the meadows are usually still brown here in central Austria. The nights in the alpine areas show all kinds of a blue atmosphere. These nights are definitely cold (around Zero Celsius) with the water freezing. After half a year of winter there is a big desire for colors. For the colors of the new spring rising.
Between the remains of the last year, tiny little flowers claim their place on earth.
The tiny flower above seems to have a happy and friendly and smiling face.
The yellow coltsfoot (also called coughwort or coalfoot) remembers us. Tiny shining suns on the ground.
A fly (top left of the picture above) is cherishing the sweet honey smells of the spring snowflake.
Moss has a great time in the lake and creek areas. Under certain light conditions moss seems to be illuminating. Natural neon lights.
The photo above does not show a photo manipulation. It just shows a pond with some grass and the trees reflecting in the water. I love to look at these while walking in the woods.
Oh, what a jewel, a tiny yellow snail house!
Taking a closer look to the ground we discover a certain micro-cosmos. Tiny mushrooms.
Can tiny things make you feel tiny or do they make you feel big? Does looking at tiny things make you feel tiny and looking at big things make you feel big?
The size of this mushroom above is around 12 millimeters (1.2 centimeters), not even an inch.
Now we take a broader perspective. At the mountains around us and the lake before us. This area is populated since thousands of years. The Celts were here ... and the Romans. And some people even before that times.
Looking at the waves of the lake makes a person to calm down. A matter of finding inner peace.
One of my all-time favorites is to look at the reflections of the sun in the waters.
Star signs seem to bounce up from the waves. A camera can get a hold of that. The mind can not do this. Sometimes, logic is only a poor tool. An rationalism defies itself. Some things can only be perceived by the heart. Empathy. Another kind of learning.
Sometimes, the blue color can make us depressed. The photo above is (was) originally only in blue colors. When I was in hospital last year (for over two months) in intensive care I sometimes saw this lake. In my imagination. It was before me. The sound of the oxygen supply whispered: the sea. TTTHHHEEESSSSSEEEEAAAA. OK. I'll stop now and wil 'see' you another time. Thank you for coming here and reading this post. You are welcome to leave a link to your blog here and maybe comment. I love to see photos from your part of the world. I also do regular microblogging on twitter. My username there is ' transitenator '. If you follow me there I will of course follow you back. So ... have a happy day / night. Best wishes.

TTTHHHEEESSSSSEEEEAAAA. I' ll停止今およびwil ' see' 別の時間。
